सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में, पटरियों पर और अब लोग ट्रेनों में दम तोड़ने लगे हैं। प्रवासियों को उनके जिलों तक छोड़ने के लिए रेलवे की श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेनों का कोई माई-बाप नहीं है। ट्रेनें रास्ता भटक जा रही हैं और कहीं की कहीं पहुंच जा रही हैं। नतीजा है कि कोरोना की कौन कहे भूख, प्यास, गर्मी से कई लोगों ने दम तोड़ दिया। इनमें मासूम भी, नौजवान भी और पकी उम्र के लोग भी हैं। कई घर तो ईद के मौके पर मातम में डूब गए।
महाराष्ट्र से आ रहे मजदूर को आरा में लोगों ने जब उठाना चाहा तो पाया कि उसकी मौत हो चुकी है। उसकी पहचान नबी हसन के पुत्र निसार खान उम्र लगभग 44 वर्ष के रूप में की गई। वह गया का रहने वाला था। श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेनों के लेट होने का सिलसिला कुछ ऐसा है कि गुजरात के सूरत से 16 मई को सीवान के लिए निकलीं दो ट्रेनें क्रमश: उड़ीसा के राउरकेला और बेंगलुरु पहुंच गईं।
वाराणसी रेल मंडल की खोजबीन के बाद ट्रेन का पता चला। जिस ट्रेन को 18 मई को सिवान पहुंचना था, वह 9 दिन बाद सोमवार 25 मई को पहुंची। ट्रेन को गोरखपुर के रास्ते सीवान आना था, लेकिन छपरा होकर सोमवार की अहले सुबह 2.22 बजे आई। जयपुर-पटना-भागलपुर 04875 श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेन रविवार की रात पटना की बजाए गया जंक्शन पहुंच गई।
ट्रेन में चढ़ने के दौरान चार वर्षीय इरशाद की मौत
पश्चिम चंपारण जिला के चनपटिया थाना के तुलाराम घाट निवासी मो पिंटू शनिवार को दिल्ली से पटना के लिए चले। सोमवार सुबह दानापुर से मुजफ्फरपुर जंक्शन पहुंचे। मुजफ्फरपुर में बेतिया की ट्रेन में चढ़ने के दौरान इरशाद की मौत हो गई। पिंटू ने बताया कि उमस भरी गर्मी और पेट में अन्न का दाना नहीं होने के कारण उन लोगों ने अपने लाड़ले को खो दिया।
बरौनी में टूट गई अनवर की सांस, 4 दिन से भूखे थे
महाराष्ट्र के बांद्रा टर्मिनल से 21 मई को श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेन से घर लौट रहे कटिहार के 55 वर्षीय मो अनवर की सोमवार की शाम बरौनी जंक्शन पर मौत हो गई। अनवर बरौनी ने 10 रुपये का सत्तू खरीद कर खाया और कर्मनाशा से कटिहार जा रही श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेन पर सवार होने से पहले वह पानी लेने उतरा था, इसी बीच उसकी मौत हो गई।
ओबरा की महिला ने पति की गोद में दम तोड़ दिया
सूरत से श्रमिक स्पेशल से दोपहर 1 बजे सासाराम पहुंची महिला ने पति से कहा भूख लगी है। स्टेशन पर ही पति के सामने नाश्ता किया और उसके बाद कांपने लगी। पति की गोद में ही उसने दम तोड़ दिया। वह ओबरा प्रखंड के गौरी गांव की रहने वाली थी। महिला की मौत होते ही सासाराम स्टेशन पर कई लोग इधर-उधर भागने लगे। पति ने कहा मैं नि:सहाय क्या करता?
ट्रेन में तबीयत खराब हुई, अस्पताल में सांस टूट गई
महाराष्ट्र से आ रहे एक श्रमिक की ट्रेन में हालत खराब होने के बाद उसकी मौत हो गई। वह मोतिहारी जिले के कुंडवा-चैनपुर का निवासी बताया जा रहा है। दरअसल, उसकी तबियत खराब होने के बाद उसे ट्रेन से उतारकर जहानाबाद सदर अस्पताल लाया गया। वहां पहुंचते ही डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।
कानपुर से गया तक बच्चे की लाश के साथ सफर
राजकोट-भागलपुर श्रमिक स्पेशल ट्रेन से गया में सोमवार को 8 माह के बच्चे के शव को उतारा गया। परिवार मुम्बई से सीतामढ़ी जा रहा था। आगरा में बच्चे का इलाज हुआ बच्चे की कानपुर के पास मौत हो गई। दंपती देवेश पंडित सीतामढ़ी के खजूरी सैदपुर थाना क्षेत्र के सोनपुर गांव का रहने वाले हैं।
कटिहार जा रही अवलिना की ट्रेन में ही निकली जान
अहमदाबाद से जंक्शन मुजफ्फरपुर पहुंची स्पेशल ट्रेन में कटिहार की रहने वाली 23 साल की अलविना खातून मौत हो गई। वह अपने जीजा इस्लाम खान के साथ अहमदाबाद से घर लौट रही थी। जीजा इस्लाम खान का रो-रो कर बुरा हाल था। अलविना विक्षिप्त थी। उसका इलाज चल रहा था।

 Four-year-old Irshad dies while boarding a train
