क्या कोरोना से उबरने के बाद इंसान में इतनी इम्यूनिटी विकसित हो जाती है कि दोबारा संक्रमण से बचा जा सके? अमेरिकी शोधकर्ताओं ने इसका जवाब ढूंढने की कोशिश की है। उनका कहना है हां ऐसा हो रहा है। कोरोना से लड़ने के लिए कितनी इम्यूनिटी विकसित हो रही है, इसके लिए बंदरों पर दो रिसर्च की गईं।
इन रिसर्च में सामने आया कि बंदरों में दोबारा संक्रमण होने पर वायरस से लड़ने के लिए एंटीबॉडी पैदा हो जाती हैं। शोधकर्ताओं का कहना है ये एंटीबॉडी कितने समय तक सुरक्षा देंगीं, यह स्पष्ट नहीं हो पाया है।
दोबारा बचाव के लिए कुदरती एंटीबॉडी कारगर
पहला अध्ययन में 9 कोरोना संक्रमित बंदरों को शामिल किया गया है। जब वो रिकवर हुए तो शोधकर्ताओं ने उन्हें दोबारा कोरोनावायरस से संक्रमित किया लेकिन इस बार वो बीमार नहीं पड़े। उनके शरीर में संक्रमण से लड़ने वाली एंटीबॉडी विकसित हुईं। यह अध्ययन अमेरिका के बेथ डिकेनस मेडिकल सेंटर में किया गया। शोधकर्ता और वायरस विशेषज्ञ डॉ. डेन बेरुच के मुताबिक, दोबारा कोरोना के संक्रमण से बचने के लिए शरीर में कुदरती एंटीबॉडी असर दिखाती है।
वैक्सीन वाले बंदर सुरक्षित रहे
इन्हीं शोधकर्ताओं ने बंदरों पर दूसरी रिसर्च की। इस बार रिसर्च में 25 बंदरों को शामिल किया गया। उनके से 8 बंदरों को हाल ही में तैयार की गईं 6 तरह की वैक्सीन (प्रोटोटाइप) दी गईं और देखा गया कि यह किस हद तक बचाती हैं। शोधकर्ताओं का कहना है जिन बंदरों को वैक्सीन दी गईं वेसुरक्षित थे। वहीं जिन्हें वैक्सीन नहीं मिली उनकी नाक और फेफड़े में काफी संख्या में वायरस मिले।
एंटीबॉडी सुरक्षा कवच की तरह
शोधकर्ताओं के मुताबिक, जिन बंदरों के रक्त में एंटीबॉडी का स्तर अधिक था उनमें वायरस का स्तर काफी कम था। रिसर्च में स्पष्ट हुआ कि एंटीबॉडी कोरोना के लिए सुरक्षा कवच की तरह काम करती है। शोधकर्ता का कहना है कि ये शुरुआती परिणाम हैं। इनके आधार पर अभीइंसानों के बारे मेंअभी कुछ कहा नहीं जासकता है।
दोबारा संक्रमण समझने की रिसर्च कोरिया में हुई
इलाज के बाद कोरोना से रिकवर होने वाले मरीजों की हफ्तों बाद रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आ रही है। इस समझने के लिए कोरिया के सेंटर्स फॉर डिसीज कंट्रोल एंड प्रिवेंशन के वैज्ञानिकों ने ऐसे 285 कोरोना सर्वाइवर पर रिसर्च की जो इलाज के बाद पॉजिटिव मिले थे।
शोधकर्ताओं का कहना है कि मरीजों में इलाज के बाद जो रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है उसका कारण शरीर में मौजूद कोरोनावायरस के डेड पार्टिकलहो सकते हैं। इससे किसी को संक्रमण नहीं फैलता। ऐसे मरीजों में से वायरस का सेम्पल लिया गया। लैब में उसमें किसी तरह का विकास नहीं दिखा और साबित हुआ कि असंक्रमित कण हैं।
