अभी तक कहा जा रहा था कि सतहों को छूने पर कोरोना संक्रमण तेजी से फैलता है। पर अब अमेरिका के सीडीसी ने साफ किया है कि सतह पर मौजूद कोरोनावायरस उतनी आसानी से संक्रमण नहीं फैला सकता, जितना माना जा रहा था। इस जानकारी से उन लोगों को कुछ राहत मिलेगी, जो सामान लाने के बाद बैग्स को सैनिटाइज करते रहते हैं या बार-बार फर्श, स्लैब जैसी सतहों को साफ करते रहते हैं।
सेंटर फॉर डिजीज कंट्रोल एंड प्रिवेंशन की प्रवक्ता क्रिस्टीन नॉरल्युंड ने कहा कि कोरोनावायरस मुख्य तौर पर एक व्यक्ति को दूसरे के करीबी संपर्क की वजह से सबसे तेजी से फैल रहा है। वर्जीनिया टेक यूनिवर्सिटी में एयरोसॉल साइंटिस्ट डॉ. लिंसे ने कहा कि संक्रमण के लिए सबसे पहले सतह पर पर्याप्त मात्रा में कोरोना होना जरूरी है। इसके बाद किसी दूसरे व्यक्ति के उस सतह को छूने तक वायरस जिंदा रहना जरूरी है।
कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमण फैलाने में योगदान रहता
पर्याप्त मात्रा में वायरस हैं और व्यक्ति छू भी ले तो संक्रमण के लिए कोरोना का उस व्यक्ति की त्वचा पर तब तक जिंदा रहना जरूरी है, जब तक कि वो उससे अपनी नाक, आंख या मुंह को छू नहीं लेता। इसके अलावा भी कई ऐसी बातें हैं, जिनका किसी सतह पर मौजूद कोरोना वायरस से संक्रमण फैलाने में योगदान रहता है।
अभी तक इसी बात का जवाब नहीं मिल पाया है कि किसी एक जगह पर वायरस की संख्या कम से कम और ज्यादा से ज्यादा कितनी होनी चाहिए जो उसके फैलने की दर को प्रभावित कर सकती है।

साइंटिस्ट डॉ. लिंसे का मानना है कि संक्रमण के लिए सबसे पहले सतह पर पर्याप्त मात्रा में कोरोना होना जरूरी है।

 Corona virus contributes to spreading infection
 If there is sufficient amount of virus and even if the person touches it then it is necessary for the infection to remain alive on the person's skin until it touches his nose, eyes or mouth.  Apart from this, there are many such things, which contribute to the spread of infection from the corona virus on any surface.

 So far, the answer has not been found that the number of viruses should be at least and maximum at any one place which can affect its spread rate.




 Scientist Dr. Linsey believes that it is necessary to have a sufficient amount of corona on the surface for infection to occur first.
