काेराेना संकट में दूसरे राज्याें से लाैटकर मध्यप्रदेश आए आधे से ज्यादा प्रवासी मजदूर दाेबारा महानगरों में पलायन नहीं करना चाहते हैं। जबकि एक चौथाई ऐसे हैं, जो वापसी को लेकर असमंजस में हैं। 21 फीसदी हालात सामान्य हाेने पर फिर से महानगराें में जाने के इच्छुक हैं। यह निष्कर्ष विकास संवाद संस्था द्वारा प्रदेश के 10 जिलों में लौटे मजदूरों के बीच किए गए सर्वे के आधार पर निकला है।
पूरी मजदूरी भी नहीं मिली
विकास संवाद के निदेशक सचिन कुमार जैन ने मंगलवार को रिपोर्ट जारी की। इसके मुताबिक, मध्यप्रदेश के आधे से अधिक मजदूर निर्माण क्षेत्र में कार्यरत थे। वापस लौटे लगभग आधे मजदूर ऐसे भी हैं जिन्हें अचानक लॉकडाउन के बाद पूरी मजदूरी का भुगतान भी नहीं किया गया।
रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक वापस आए एक चौथाई मजदूरों के पास 100 रुपए से भी कम नगदी बची थी। जबकि हर 100 में सात मजदूर ऐसे हैं जो घर लौटने की इस जद्दोजहद में पूरी तरह कंगाल हो गए।उनके पास एक रुपया भी नगद नहीं बचा। केवल 11 फीसदी मजदूर ही ऐसे भाग्यशाली थे, जिनके पास 2000 रुपए से अधिक की राशि गांव लौटने परबच पाई।
रिपोर्ट प्रदेश के सतना, मंडला, छतरपुर, पन्ना, रीवा, शिवपुरी, विदिशा, शहडोल, निवाड़ी और उमरिया जिले में किए सर्वे के आधार पर तैयार की गई है।
सर्वे: 47% काे लाॅकडाउन के कारण नहीं मिली मजदूरी

अब तक लौटे 14 लाख मजदूर
20 मई तक मप्र सरकार की मदद से 4.63 लाख मजदूर ट्रेन या बसों जरिए आ चुके थे। इनमें 1.93 लाख गुजरात से, 1.07 लाख महाराष्ट्र और 1 लाख राजस्थान से 1 लाख से आए। इसके अलावा लगभग 10 लाख मजदूर पैदल, साइकिल या खुद के साधनों से वापस लौटकर आए हैं।

 More than half the migrant laborers who have come to Madhya Pradesh from other states in Kareena crisis do not want to migrate to Daibara metropolis.  While there are a quarter who are confused about the comeback.  21 per cent are willing to go to the metropolis again on normalcy.  This conclusion is based on the survey conducted by the Vikas Samvad Sanstha among the returned laborers in 10 districts of the state.

 Not even full wages

 Sachin Kumar Jain, director of Vikas Samvad released the report on Tuesday.  According to this, more than half of the workers of Madhya Pradesh were employed in the construction sector.  About half of the workers who returned were also not paid full wages after the sudden lockdown.

 According to the report, a quarter of the workers who came back had less than 100 rupees in cash.  Whereas there are seven laborers in every 100 who are completely bankrupt in their struggle to return home. They do not have even a single cash left.  Only 11 percent of the laborers were fortunate to have more than 2000 rupees to return to the village.

 The report has been prepared on the basis of survey conducted in Satna, Mandla, Chhatarpur, Panna, Rewa, Shivpuri, Vidisha, Shahdol, Niwari and Umaria districts of the state.

 1.4 million laborers returned so far

 By May 20, 4.63 lakh laborers had arrived by train or buses with the help of MP government.  Of these, 1.93 lakh came from Gujarat, 1.07 lakh from Maharashtra and 1 lakh from Rajasthan.  Apart from this, about one million workers have returned by foot, bicycle or own means.




 Besasan Ghat in Barwani, Madhya Pradesh is on the border.  Workers from Madhya Pradesh, UP, Bihar coming from Maharashtra at night are being stopped in the Bijasan temple complex.  The workers are forced to sleep on the ground in the open.
