सिर पर भारी सामान का बोझ लादे घने जंगल में चली जा रही यहमहिला कोई मजदूर नहीं बल्कितेलंगाना के मुलुगु निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस विधायक हैं। वैसे तो इनका नामदानसरी अनुसूया है मगर इन्हें लोग सितक्का के नाम से ज्यादा जानते हैं। वहपिछले 60 दिनों से लगातार घने जंगलों में कभी पैदल, कभी मोटर साइकिलतो कभी बैलगाड़ी में चल रही हैं।उनका मकसदकोरोना महामारी के चलते लगेलॉकडाउन से परेशान उन गरीब आदिवासियों की मदद करना है, जिनके पास अब खाने के लिए रोटी तक नहीं है।
कभी केवल16 साल की उम्र में बंदूक उठाकर गरीबों और आदिवासियों की मदद करने के लिए निकल पड़ी लड़की आज 48 साल की हो चुकी हैं। फर्क बस इतना है कि आज विधायक के रूप में लोगों की मदद कर रही हैं।जंगल की यह बेटी आज भी लोगों की मदद के लिए कई किलोमीटर तक पैदल ही चल पड़ती हैं। सितक्का ने करीब 16 साल पहले आत्म समर्पण कर दिया था।
सितक्का जनसेवा के इरादे से राजनीति में आईं
इसके बाद समाज की मुख्य धारा में आईं सितक्का ने एलएलबी की पढ़ाई पूरी की। फिर जनसेवा के इरादे से राजनीति में आ गईं। फिलहालसितक्का तेलंगाना के मुलुगु निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस विधायक हैं। इन दिनों वह अपने निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के दुर्गम इलाकों में घूम-घूमकर जरूरतमंद लोगों तक सीधे सहायता पहुंचा रही हैं।
माओवादी कमांडर से जननेता तक का सफर
एक जमाने में माओवादी कमांडर के रूप मेंबुलेट की राह पर चली सितक्का आज बैलेट की ताकत से लोगों के दिलों पर राज करती हैं। किसी भी गांव में राशन पहुंचाने के लिए खुद ही सामान लादकर मदद के लिए निकल पड़ती हैं। यदि भूख लग जाए तो वहीं बैठकर भोजन भी कर लेती हैं।
सितक्का इन दुर्गम आदिवासी इलाकों में आवश्यक वस्तुएं पहुंचाने के साथ-साथ लोगों को कोरोना वायरस के प्रति जागरूक भी करती हैं। इन दिनों सोशल मीडिया पर उनकी खासी तारीफ भी हो रही है।
गो हंगर गो मिशन के जरिए कर रही हैं मदद
गो हंगर गो मिशन के जरिए लोगों की मदद करने के लिए सितक्का बीते करीब दो महीनों से सुबह-सुबह ही अपने समर्थकों के साथ निकल पड़ती हैं। उनके साथ होती हैं आवश्यक वस्तुएं। दाल-चावल, फल-सब्जियां आदि। कुछ दानदाताओं के द्वारा उपलब्ध सामग्री होती है तो कुछ सितक्का खुद जुटाती हैं। चूंकि, ज्यादातर जगह सीधी सड़क नहीं तो कभी गाड़ी तो कभी बैलगाड़ी तो कभी साइकिल, जो मिलता है सितक्का उससे चल पड़ती हैं।
मुलुगु निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में लगभग 700 गांव हैं। इनमें से 500 से ज्यादा गांवों में सितक्का वस्तुएं पहुंचा चुकी हैं। उनकी लोकप्रियता का आलम यह है कि जहां वे जाती हैं, लोग उनके लिए ढोल बजाने लगते हैं। सितक्का न सिर्फ लोगों को भोजन परोसती हैं बल्कि उन्हीं के साथ बैठकर भोजन करती भी हैं।
सिर्फ अपने निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में ही नहीं बल्कि पड़ोसी राज्य आंध्र के पूर्वी और पश्चिम गोदावरी जिले के दुर्गम इलाकों में भी सितक्का बोट के द्वारा तो कहीं पैदल पहुंच जाती हैं। पूर्वी गोदावरी के चिंतूर में कुछ इलाके इतने दुर्गम हैं कि पांच पहाड़ियां पार करके वहां पहुंचना पड़ता है मगर सितक्का ने वहां जाकर भी मदद की है।

Since, in most of the places, there is no straight road, sometimes a car, sometimes a bullock cart, sometimes a bicycle, you get to walk through it.
There are about 700 villages in Mulugu constituency. Of these, more than 500 villages have delivered Sitka items. Their popularity is that where they go, people start playing drums for them. Sitka not only serves food to the people but also sits and dines with them.
Not only in her constituency but also in the inaccessible areas of East and West Godavari district of the neighboring state of Andhra, Sitkka boat reaches somewhere on foot.
